Mariners Volleyball
Our girls’
volleyball team played some amazing sets yesterday at our area tournament...
Even though we lost our first game against Lourdes, our girls didn’t give up.
We moved on to play our 2nd game against Castex, who were ranked 3rd overall.
It was due to our strong serves by Stella and Stuti and the amazing team
effort, with their bumps, sets and attacks which won us the game. This then
placed us in 2nd in our Pool which allowed us to move on to play in the
semifinals against Burkevale. Once again, our girls battled through some tough
yet close sets losing 25-23 and 25-18. Truly an amazing effort by all! Coaches
St. Amant and LeMesurier are very proud of how hard our girls played and
cheered each other on. You represented Mundy’s Bay with honor, girls!
Congratulations Mariners!

March cyber
awareness topic: online grooming and luring
As we navigate the digital world, it's crucial to be
aware of the dangers of online grooming and luring. This month's tip sheet
provides essential information on recognizing the signs of online grooming,
understanding the tactics used by predators, and knowing how to protect
yourself and your loved ones.
It's
important to engage in conversations about these topics to ensure everyone
understands the risks and knows how to stay safe online. Open discussions can
help reinforce good habits and ensure we are all contributing to a safer digital
environment.

month’s theme and explore additional resources: ecno.org/wp-content/uploads/2024/09/ECNO-CAM-24-Infosheets-E-_Part5.pdf
Sleep
Children 5
to 13 years old need 9-11 hours of good quality sleep for their health, mood,
and to learn. Regular bedtimes and wake-up times, no screens at least one hour
before bed, and a comfortable sleep environment will help your child to fall
asleep. Speak with your health care provider if your child has ongoing problems
with sleep.
